And here is is! My Oracle Video!

This is a tribute to Oracle to the tune of Ani Difranco’s “Willing to Fight”, which is one of my favorite songs and just reminds me of Babs so hard.

Who’s your boogey man?

And I think it’s absurd

So it ended up being a bit of a wordy video, to fit with those lyrics I guess, I reallyy wanted to show Babs kicking ass with her intelligence, so there’s only one sequence where she uses escrima. I wanted to show how massive and powerful and uniquely hers the role of Oracle was, and especially a few panels where she said that this life was fufilling for her and she was better than ever. Basically, another FU DC goodbye tribute to one of my favorite characters.

Here it is at last! My Cassandra Cain tribute! I’ve never made a video solely about her before because it’s hard finding the right song for her- I want it to be really kickass, but sort of dark and being about overcoming things, you know? It’s not like Steph or other characters, I can’t do anything too peppy or poppy or from the POV of an average person. But Pat Benetar’s “Invincible” is just perfect

We can’t afford to be innocent

Stand up and face the enemy

It’s a do or die situation

We will be invincible.

I sort of wanted it to span her whole story as well, so it ends with her most recent appearance in GoG.

 I guess I’m making sort of “Goodbye DC” tribute videos of my three favorites, to commemorate the characters that got me into DC and remind me why them being screwed over is more than enough to make me want to leave.

I’ll love Cass forever, even if DC doesn’t. Making this just made me sadder about how DC’s benching her and not giving her a title yet again. But whatevs, we’ll always have fandom.
