No use in masquerading any longer, Dad! Because I want to run want to run for Congress in your place! You admitted you don’t want the job! And it’s the only way I can really fight crime - prevent it - through prison reform! Legislation - law  that creates order, not disorder!

Anonymous asked: I am just now starting(from the beginning) Steph's run as batgirl. She keeps mentioning Tim, I know they were together, but what comics showed that and the breakup? Lemme know, Thank you :D

Welcome to Steph, anon! :D I hope you’re enjoying her run.

She met Tim during her first appearance, in Detective Comics 647-649.

Spoiler hits Tim with a brick! Ah, young love.

She becomes a recurring character in Robin starting in the third issue. She flirts with Tim quite a bit, but he already has a girlfriend, and he doesn’t really approve of Steph as a vigilante.

But he realises his feelings for both girls are changing, so in Robin 56 he breaks up with Ariana and asks Steph to go out with him. Kind of.

Steph eventually discovers Tim’s identity. By Robin 100 they have, I think, a more equal, respectful relationship.

Then Willingham takes over, and they, um, regress a bit. Anyway.

Stephanie becomes Robin, and she and Tim never really have a chance to discuss it before she dies.

When Steph comes back (Robin 170-174), Tim kisses her, but they don’t really rekindle their relationship. Part of this is because Bruce used her to help him “test” Tim, revealed in Robin 176.

There’s a great list of Steph’s appearances here, and following her Robin appearances will give you the bulk of her relationship with Tim.

Barbara: You saved his life.
I can’t thank you enough.
Yes, that’s me. It was a long time ago.
Take it. I’d like you to have it.

Batman and Cass have a conversation of words and fists, which culminates in him telling her that Cain is his problem, not hers. Two-Face hired him, after all.
Naturally, this means she goes after Two-Face.
