When Batgirl’s foray into the lair of the League of Assassins goes awry, she turns to Mr. Freeze, who’s working with them because they’ve promised to revive his wife.
And it works, because she genuinely does want to help him. Her concern and compassion are utterly genuine.
Cassandra doesn’t manipulate people. She inspires them.
